Pause : Breathe : Repeat :

Update January 2022 on my Slow Rest Retreats.

Due to the unusual times in which we live at the moment, I am uncertain when  I can offer overseas retreats again.  Maybe 2023 will be the year.

I am really missing teaching – and seeing all the familiar faces.

I’m currently cocooned in a creative cave, writing and crafting recorded guided rituals for difficult times.

I look forward to supporting you again, in person or on-line for a little holistic relaxation therapy.

Big love xox  Carole

: About Slow Rest sessions :

Slow rest is all about learning how to soften, relax and sink into a state of deep restorative rest.

Slow rest is a unique fusion of gentle seated body awareness movements, deep rest postures (restorative yoga), calming breath practices, restorative rituals and therapeutic touch.

All deep rest shapes are done laying on your mat with the support of bolsters, blankets, eye pillows and/or weighted sandbags to help the body feel safe and supported so the relaxation process can begin.

Weighting the body is a delicious key element of slow rest, as it helps to profoundly calm the body. Settling restless, agitated energy and greatly supporting nervous system repair.

You’ll be additionally supported intuitively by Carole with aromatherapy, reiki, healing touch, flower essences and botanical sprays to support your overall well being, both physically and energetically.

Carole will also personally prescribe restorative rituals and vibrational medicines for you to take home with you.

All beds are four poster double beds with gorgeous netting.

All rooms include a small fridge, fresh filtered water, tea and coffee facilities

Most rooms are fan cooled as Ubud is higher up in the hills and always cooler than the coast.

If you prefer air conditioning please request, there are a limited number available.

Rooms are serviced daily.

Free wifi available

Honeymoon Guesthouse has a cafe open until late each day for snacks, light meals and drinks

Accommodation is a one and a half hours drive from the Denpasar airport.

Honeymoon Guesthouse is a 10 minute walk into centre of Ubud.

: Getting there :

The airport you will be flying into is Denpasar International Airport Bali.

Organise with your local travel agent or book on-line.  If coming from Australia  with air asia jetstar or virginblue are the most popular airlines.

If you are travelling from America or Canada stopping in Hong Kong seems to be the quickest and preferred route than many participants choose to take.  Denpasar airport is a very busy airport and most airlines fly there.

“Bali is beautiful and the senses are saturated in ubuds sacredness but what makes this retreat so rejuvenating is Carole who is a true gem. She is so genuine & creates such a nurturing, trusting environment that combines, joy, peace, adventure and empowerment. Carole effortlessly threads groups together of different age & life experiences and encourages people to embrace new opportunities in a gentle authentic way.
