Our venue is a traditional boutique Balinese style hotel that I have been using for my retreats for over 10 years now.

Accommodation is either a shared (two double beds per room) or a single room, which is $195.00 extra.

All beds are four poster beds with gorgeous netting.

All rooms include a small fridge, fresh filtered water, tea and coffee facilities

Most rooms are fan cooled as Ubud is higher up in the hills and always cooler than the coast.

If you prefer air conditioning please request, there are a limited number available.

Rooms are serviced daily.

Free wifi available

Honeymoon Guesthouse has a cafe open until late each day for snacks, meals and drinks

Accommodation is a one hours drive from the Denpasar airport,

Honeymoon Guesthouse is a 5 minute walk into centre of Ubud.

Getting there:

The airport you will be flying into is Denpasar International Airport Bali.

Organise with your local travel agent or book on-line.  If coming from Australia  with air asia jetstar or virginblue are the most popular airlines.

If you are travelling from America or Canada stopping in Hong Kong seems to be the quickest and preferred route than many participants choose to take.  Denpasar airport is a very busy airport and most airlines fly there.

Feedback from participants:

“Thank you Carole for such a wonderful retreat.  This was the most relaxing and rejuvenating experience I’d ever had.  My mind, body and spirit felt relaxed and rejuvenated from a holistic package. This would not have been complete without you as our facilitator being such a kind, gentle and helpful soul.  So, thank you Carole from the bottom of my heart.  I highly recommend this retreat to anyone” Nyesha, Australia, Physiologist and Counsellor

“I can highly recommend this retreat with the lovely Carole. Everything was just perfect. The restorative yoga retreat was just what my soul was crying out for. !!! I intend to go again in the near future. Carole is a wonderful facilitator” Wendy, Nurse, Australia

“The most relaxing week. Quiet and calm. Wonderful treatments and Carole a wonderful teacher”  Jane, New Zealand

“You will be truly amazed at how easily you can naturally relax when you are in the presence of Carole. She is a very perceptive facilitator and has a gift for healing and understanding along with a gentleness that creates peace and harmony to the soul. After returning from one of her Retreats in Bali I felt enriched and calm and had learnt so much. I can thoroughly recommend the rejuvenation I experienced. Carole has a character beyond reproach” Revi, pilot Australia

“Bali is beautiful and the senses are saturated in ubuds sacredness but what makes this retreat so rejuvenating is Carole who is a true gem. She is so genuine & creates such a nurturing, trusting environment that combines, joy, peace, adventure and empowerment. Carole effortlessly threads groups together of different age & life experiences and encourages people to embrace new opportunities in a gentle authentic way. She practices what she preaches and knows all the best organic places to eat and arranges incredible spa treatments. I would love all the special woman I know to take time out with Carole, so far my Mother and Mother in Law have both enjoyed a Bali retreat with her, definitely 5+ stars. Don’t just follow your heart, FILL your heart, put yourself first and Carole with take Care of it all”  Rachel, yoga teacher, Australia

Good luck.

Bridie October 10, 2010 at 10:00 am

Hi, I’m interested in your July 24 retreat next year. The smiling meditation interests me, is this practiced at the retreat? Warmth.

Megan Flakelar October 15, 2010 at 10:01 pm

Hi Carole,
My cousin’s wife, Michelle Quade, has contacted you today mentioning that we would like to join the July 24 retreat. I am one of the 4 people mentioned in her email and she has just phoned me tonight to tell me about it. ( As she mentioned, we are all in need of some rest and quite reflective time)

I would love to make a deposit and would like to do it by internet banking – direct debit if that is possible.

Kind regards
Megan Flakelar

Hi! I’m interested in the Retreat (it would most likely be for the September one if there is still room), but I would like to hear from previous attendees, reviews and references, that kind of thing. If you could have them post, or put me into contact with them, that would be great. Thanks!

Carole Fogarty March 12, 2012 at 9:37 am

Hi Laurel,

Yes, you are in luck there are a couple of spots left (at the moment) for the September 2012 retreat.

I’ve sent you an email so hopefully it arrives safe and sound.

I would like to know if you have a retreat schedule in October and if there is still room left by any chance?

Many thanks

Nicole June 3, 2012 at 3:12 pm

I was wondering when your earliest retreat is next year? I would like to go on a Bali retreat with my partner, but we can’t seem to get around work or study for the rest of the year.

Thanks in advance!

María Benner September 17, 2013 at 5:22 pm

Do you still have anything available for The retreat in January (Bali)?
For two people.
Thank you.

Carole Fogarty September 19, 2013 at 9:39 am

Yes Maria, there are two spots available for the January retreat.

You are welcome to email me personally healthylivinglounge@gmail.com xx Carole

I am in the USA. What would be a total cost plus air fare for two. I would like to start saving. I am a three time cancer survivor but I am struggling with fibromyalgia and spinal arthritis. I need this.
