Hello! Thanks for visiting. I’m Carole.
For nearly a decade now I’ve been leading Slow Yoga Relaxation Retreats and other speciality retreats in serene exotic locations around the world.
Rejuvenation Lounge Retreats are small, caring and thoughtfully crafted for maximum individual support, enjoyment and relaxation. Retreats are uniquely small either 6, 8 or 10 people depending on the peaceful location.
Intentional deep rest is the priority. It’s a precise medicine!
It’s all about you stopping and receiving for a whole week, living slowly and being profoundly nurtured.
Enjoy a combination of very gentle deep rest yoga (suitable for beginners), calming meditations, rejuvenating breathing practices (pranayama), soft slow movement, energy healing (such as reiki), essential oils, oracle cards, serene nature walks and nourishing vegetarian meals. Layer all this with time to be on your own, a one-on-one private nurturing session with myself and a few peaceful soulful adventures.
I welcome everyone to my retreats. All ages, single travellers, mother-daughters, small groups of friends, partners and especially you. No yoga or meditation experience necessary.
If you can lay on your yoga mat, close your eyes and focus on moving your breath through the body then you’ll be fine. Know that everything offered is totally optional so you can personalize your relaxation and retreat experience to how you want it.

Tuscany, Italy Slow Yoga Relaxation Retreat 2014
This gentle Tuscan retreat includes twice daily deep rest classes with Carole and serene walks along ancient pilgrim trails (some guided and others self guided) interlaced with a few peaceful yet soulful Tuscan adventures.
Maximum 10 participants for our Italian retreat.

For nearly a decade now Carole has been offering retreats so we think we have a pretty good idea as to the type of person who joins us.
* Mostly females. Sometimes with a partner.
* 55% of females are traveling on their own.
* There is always, always a great and perfect mixture of ages. 83 has been our eldest with 22 the youngest.
* Mother daughter combination is one of the most common bookings.
* Retreat participants come from – firstly Canada, then America, England, Australia, Europe and New Zealand.
* Expect to meet people from all over the world.
* 22% of retreat participants are repeat bookings. That’s gota be a good sign!
More about Carole’s deep rest yoga classes:
Deep rest yoga is slow and very gentle.
It uses the subtle support from blankets, yoga bolsters, blocks and eye pillows to gently encourage the body to let go, soften, relax and release internal tensions, worries and energy blocks. It’s a peaceful practice that combines slow therapeutic breathing and soft guided meditations to deepen the relaxation and rejuvenation experience.
Depending on the needs of your body Carole may include soft subtle movements, calming breath rituals, reiki, hand mudra’s or mantra’s.
Slow deep rest yoga quietens the mind, nourishes the nervous system, balances hormones and boosts your immune system. You simply feel great!
No yoga or meditation experience is needed. If you can lay on your yoga mat, close your eyes and move the breath through your body, then you can practice and more importantly benefit from deep rest yoga.
When the body is in a state of deep rest healing and rejuvenation can flourish.
Perfect for beginners and ideal for anyone (even experienced yogi’s) who need a good dose of nurturing deep rest.
