Rejuvenation Retreats:

5 days and 6 nights in Ubud, Bali

Arrive Sunday evening, depart Saturday morning.

2012 dates:

March 25th – 31st  and July 1st – 7th and September 23rd – 29th

“Unwind retreats are my absolute passion and I’ve been offering them in Bali now for over 7 years.  It is my deepest intention to create the most nurturing, restful and restorative 5 days of your life”  Carole Fogarty

What you can expect:

Morning classes are a gentle combination of  very tranquil and soft restorative yoga, mindful breathing exercises, hand mudra’s, mantra’s, sound medicine, meditation, and other ancient calming practices all aimed at encouraging your mind and body to let go – unwind and experience deep, deep relaxation.

When the body is deeply relaxed it will automatically start to balance and heal itself.

Daily, yes daily specialized body treatments that I have personally hand selected.  Include Ayurvedic and Balinese therapeutic massages.

No yoga experience needed at all.  If you can lay on your back then you can enjoy restful, restorative yoga.  This tranquil yoga uses blankets and bolsters to encourage your body to let go and relax even more deeply.

Early evening yoga nidra sessions – a body awareness meditation experienced whilst laying on your back in savansana

1/2 day Balinese cooking school and market tour- including lunch

Walking meditation to a divine secluded organic lunch in the middle of rice fields -unique experience

Two fabulous dinners – a welcome dinner on the Sunday evening and farewell dinner on the Friday evening.

A relaxing balance between free personal time and group time (most lunches and most evenings are free time)

Retreats are small and personalized:

Our Balinese retreats are perfect for women (and their partners) who feel exhausted, overworked, tired or simply need some time out to rest, replenish, restore and rejuvenate.  Your individual needs are taken into total consideration so we can maximize your rest and rejuvenation experience.

It is my greatest wish that we aim to soothe your nervous system, calm your mind, release body tension, relax your organs, improve the quality of your breath, replenish energy levels, balance chakra’s and allow your body, mind and soul to feel supported and deeply rested.

shirodhara_p9.jpgbali_botanica_massage.jpgDaily routine:

Air travel:

The airport you will be flying into is Denpasar Airport Bali.

Organise with your local travel agent or book on-line.  If coming from Australia  with air asia (if traveling from Perth),  jetstar or virginblue.  Please contact Carole if you need assistance or suggestions for your travel arrangements.  Carole has traveled many times to  Bali and always with her children so she has a little experience up her sleeve, should you have any questions.

If you are travelling from America stopping in Hong Kong seems to be the quickest and preferred route than many participants choose to take.  Denpasar airport is a very busy airport and most airlines fly there.

Hi, I’m interested in your July 24 retreat next year. The smiling meditation interests me, is this practiced at the retreat? Warmth.

Hi Carole,
My cousin’s wife, Michelle Quade, has contacted you today mentioning that we would like to join the July 24 retreat. I am one of the 4 people mentioned in her email and she has just phoned me tonight to tell me about it. ( As she mentioned, we are all in need of some rest and quite reflective time)

I would love to make a deposit and would like to do it by internet banking – direct debit if that is possible.

Kind regards
Megan Flakelar

Hi Carole,

I’d like to inquire about your July 1st Bali retreat for summer 2012. Is there still availability for one double room (my sister and I)?

Best,
