About:
Focus is on the practice of intentional rest, gentle restorative yoga, therapeutic breathing practices, daily massages/spa treatments, yoga nidra and meditation for a calmer, healthier and happier you.
Now in our eighth year (yeah!) our retreats are perfect for men and women who feel exhausted, overworked, tired or simply need some time out to rest, replenish, restore and rejuvenate.
No yoga or meditation experience is needed. Everyone is welcome, any age. Each retreat has a great mix of ages.
Your individual needs are taken into total consideration so we can maximize your rest and rejuvenation experience. Numbers are kept small with maximum 8 participants.
“I look forward to holding the space for you to feel nurtured, rested and deeply supported” Carole Fogarty
What you can expect:
Morning classes are a gentle combination of very tranquil and soft restorative yoga, mindful breathing exercises, hand mudra’s, mantra’s, sound medicine, meditation, and other ancient calming practices all aimed at encouraging your mind and body to let go – unwind and experience deep, deep relaxation.
When the body is deeply relaxed it will automatically start to balance and heal itself.
Daily, yes daily specialized body treatments that I have personally hand selected. Body treatments will be tailored as needed. Include Ayurvedic and Balinese therapeutic massages.
No yoga experience needed at all. If you can lay on your back then you can enjoy restful, restorative yoga. This tranquil yoga uses blankets and bolsters to encourage your body to let go and relax even more deeply.
Early evening yoga nidra sessions – a body awareness meditation experienced whilst laying on your back in savansana
1/2 day Balinese cooking school and market tour- including lunch
Walking meditation to a divine secluded organic lunch in the middle of rice fields -unique experience
Two fabulous dinners – a welcome dinner on the Sunday evening and farewell dinner on the Friday evening.
A relaxing balance between free personal time and group time (most lunches and most evenings are free time)

Air travel:
The airport you will be flying into is Denpasar Airport Bali.
Organise with your local travel agent or book on-line. If coming from Australia with air asia , jetstar or virginblue are the most popular airlines.
Please contact Carole if you need assistance or suggestions for your travel arrangements.
If you are travelling from America stopping in Hong Kong seems to be the quickest and preferred route than many participants choose to take. Denpasar airport is a very busy airport and most airlines fly there.

Hello! I would like to inquire if there is still room available for the July 2nd retreat. Thank you!
Hi Jennifer,
Yes, you are in luck. One room has become available.
Good luck.
Carole
Hi, I’m interested in your July 24 retreat next year. The smiling meditation interests me, is this practiced at the retreat? Warmth.
Hi Carole,
My cousin’s wife, Michelle Quade, has contacted you today mentioning that we would like to join the July 24 retreat. I am one of the 4 people mentioned in her email and she has just phoned me tonight to tell me about it. ( As she mentioned, we are all in need of some rest and quite reflective time)
I would love to make a deposit and would like to do it by internet banking – direct debit if that is possible.
Kind regards
Megan Flakelar

Hi! I’m interested in the Retreat (it would most likely be for the September one if there is still room), but I would like to hear from previous attendees, reviews and references, that kind of thing. If you could have them post, or put me into contact with them, that would be great. Thanks!

I would like to know if you have a retreat schedule in October and if there is still room left by any chance?
Many thanks
Flo
Hello,
I was wondering when your earliest retreat is next year? I would like to go on a Bali retreat with my partner, but we can’t seem to get around work or study for the rest of the year.
Thanks in advance!
Namaste,
