Give your soul a voice. Feel divinely supported when the heart, pen and soul become one.

Hello wise friend,

Whose joining me for a daily ritual of automatic writing as we journey into the new horizons of 2019?

The often wild, messy and unpredictable ritual of automatic writing is an ancient pathway of connection.  A divine holy partnership with your soul (or higher realms).  A portal for diving deep. Truth seeking. Receiving insights.

Pick up your pen.

Breathe from your heart.  Stay there.

Ask a question. (I often ask what is it you would have me know now)

Let words spill onto the page. Unfiltered. Messy. Jumbled. Don’t stop, hesitate, read, correct or second guess.  Just let the pen write and write and write.

Once the surface mud of doubt and noise have been washed from the walls of your mind – tiny glimpses of clarity and insight, begin appear, amongst the purging on the page.

Over the days, perhaps weeks, single words of insight turn into sentences. A conversation of higher guidance begins.  You have entered the most sacred of portals.   Holy partnership with your soul.

Feel safe, feel held and feel divinely supported when the heart, pen and soul become one.

You and your soul are an amazing team.

If “automatic writing” seems a little daunting for you, then you may like to explore the ritual of morning pages from the book The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron.  Published way back in 1992.  A classic.  I love, love, love her work.

You can click here to watch a little video of Julia explaining morning pages.  I’m sure many of you have dipped in and dipped out of morning pages over the years or even decades like me.  It’s without a doubt a life changing ritual that offers a deep foundation for staying close to inner self.

I’m currently reading It’s Never Too Late to Begin Again: Discovering Creativity and Meaning at Midlife.   It has brought much insight into my life.  As always her writing is an inspiration.

Much love to you, and if you have the time I’d love to hear your experience with morning pages or automatic writing.
