Hello wise friend,

The words below moved through me, whilst sipping on chai (of course)  I caught them with my pen. Sprawled them randomly onto a napkin, and anything else I could find to write on. I knew they would only come once with such boldness and brightness.

These words were simply passing through me. Steeped in a universal truth that my soul wanted me to hear, remember and practice.

I look into your eyes now and say “Everyday, you can be your own medicine. Listen to the whispers of your body. Let the medicine in you rise.’

……And here my friend are the scribbled notes of the big medicine inside of you.

Your breath is medicine.  Slow her.  Encourage her to widen, deepen and open you up from the inside. Let her reach the back, bottom and corners of your lungs. Give her permission to exhale away the worries. She is your humbled servant and will flow wherever you ask. Your breath is the most potent medicine you have.

Your hands are medicine. Rub them together, activate your palm chakra’s.  Now rest the warmth of your healing hands anywhere on the body that is fragile, feels helpless, numb, depleted or drained. Touch is medicine.

Your sense of hearing is medicineMusic is healing. Especially the music of nature.  Fill your day with sounds, rhythms and mantra’s that nourish your soul.

Your thoughts are medicine.  Notice them often.  Choose thoughts that move you closer to where you want to be going. Choose thoughts that are kind to your body. Inhale thoughts that nourish. Your body will thank you. Your cells will brighten. Your vibration will lift.

How you hold your body is medicine.  Stand tall.  Claim your space. Ground through your toes, heels and balls of your feet. Lengthen your spine. Balance your head evenly over your shoulders. Shoulders over your hips. Lift your heart. Move a medicinal breath through you. Repeat. Keep releasing.  Keep opening.

Your spine is medicine.  Move her.  In circular spirals. Flex forwards, then backwards.  Draw the infinity symbol as a healing meditation  Move energy and life through you.  Again, keep releasing.  Keep opening my friend.

Your eyes are medicine.  Seek natural light.  Turn away from the screens. Hard eye balls equals harsh thinking and a tense tight body. Soften your eyes.  You’ll feel lighter.  Less burdened.

Your ability to rest is medicine. Move away from the multi tasking, excessive thinking and doing. Be still and rest for 15 minutes a day. Turn your awareness inwards, drawn your five senses in and come back to your centre. This is where your light shines from. Your unique truth is protected.  Answers are offered.

Your ability to trust is medicine.  Trust you can hear the healing needs of you body. Trust in the flow of your life. Let go of the straight line.
