‘I pause. I breathe.  I have all the time in the world”

There is a peaceful freedom that arises when practicing the ritual of surrender.  You release feelings of being pushed, pulled, tossed around and hurried along by life.

You create spaciousness through every thread and cell of your being. Breathing space to inhale deeply. Breathing space to witness your thoughts slow.  Breathing space to release the tightness and tensions.  Breathing space for new possibilities to arise. Breathing space to digest the day.

The ritual of surrender starts with a deeply soul satisfying sigh.

It’s your verbal sound mantra, your soulful body prayer, declaring you choose to release the heaviness weighing down on your shoulders and sitting uncomfortably around your heart.

As you sigh, the shoulders drop and soften.  Your throat opens, belly relaxes and body releases.

You sink back into your centre.  Ahhh!!

The ritual of surrender reconnects you gently towards the graceful energy of trust.

Trust in divine timing.  Trust everything happens for a reason. Trust there is a guiding presence always. Trust you simply need to ask. Trust in the bigger picture of life.

Following is a beautiful piece of writing I found via a dear friend, a Goddess of deep wisdom. It resonated  deeply with me. I was thrilled she thought of me when she read it.

The author is Sukhvinder Sircar from the Joyous Woman.  I have a feeling you will really connect with it as much as I did. Enjoy my dear friend. And please read it slowly to nourish yourself with her wisdom.

“She is developing a new muscle called surrender. Far too long, she’s gone on overdrive to plan everything. She believed that if she organised, scheduled and calculated meticulously, she could control outcomes & avoid surprises.  It was the way she took care of her neurosis. This also meant that if she was not perpetually stressed, something was wrong.

Then she began a journey into her own self. By loving, honouring, claiming her body, heart and soul.

That is when she discovered the reality that the universe is her strongest ally. It was her fears, and not her world, that was out to get her.  By giving up the story that her world is unsafe, she’s coming into trust that she is held and cherished by the universe. She no longer predicts her future from a place of fear.

She is becoming relaxed and confident. She’s in a loving, co-creative relationship with her world. She’s learning that as she relaxes into trust, her longings show themselves to her, and light up her the path. She makes her prayer, offers her sankalpa, and lets it go. She can now wait without despairing. She’s getting an insight into the inner workings of the universe. Her deepest plan already exists. She can begin to see that now, and it is hugely re-assuring.

Synchronicity & easy manifestation is how her world is now.

She is getting used to being pampered by the universe”

On finishing I just like to say wow and double wow,  there was a huge response to my sacred rest meditation. Over 1,000 listeners.  I promise to record some more soon.

Until next time.

Flow gently my friend
