“It’s important from time to time, to slow down, go away by yourself and simply be” Eileen Caddy.
As one year is ending and another beginning I like to clean the slate. Unravel. Ditch the heavy. Release the unnecessary. Leave space for the new.
Just after Christmas, I bow daily to my fresh start ritual. For as long as necessary. Sometimes 10 days, a month or even longer.
walking + durga mantra + nature = fresh start
My cleansing ritual for a fresh start. It’s super simple. And you know how I love simple. Move your body, chant a mantra whilst surround by nature. Now that’s perfect alchemy.
The combination of walking in nature whilst softly chanting the mantra, has a deeply soothing and nourishing effect, both physically, mentally and emotionally. It aligns me to the elements.
Worries dissolve. Nature listens. Trust grows. Vibration is lifted.
And of course, a special thanks to the sanskrit words (of the mantra). Sending healing vibrational waves out into the universe and down into the core of my cells. It’s potent alchemy in the making.
Goddess Durga’s Mantra:

Close your eyes, tune into your belly and check in with yourself. The real you. It may well be the ritual you are needing for this exact moment in your life.
Of course it’s worth mentioning you can practice this ritual anytime of the year. I certainly do.
