I started twittering about one and a half years ago. Had absolutely no idea what I was doing and certainly couldn’t explain it to my friends to save myself. Nearly as tricky as explaining what a blogger and blog is.

Having said that, I eventually found my twitter voice, and continue to share tweets (140 spaces or less) on rejuvenation tips that I am researching or practising at the moment, sites, books, great finds and a glimpse behind the scenes into my life.
Now, I have over nearly 800 followers, more than 1,300 updates and the best part of all, I have met some amazing people. One being the lovely Ange (from Melbourne) who I met for this first time last week and the reason for this post. Ange is in the photo above, on the right, and looking gorgeous in black. I was so excited to meet Ange and only wish we had longer together.
Ange recently walked the Kokada Trail in Papua New Guinea. Read all about her excellent adventure over at her blog Angesbiz.
Suzie Cheel from Abundance Highway can’t be missed in the orange, recently trained with Michael Losier in Canada on the Law Of Attraction and is now a certified practitioner. You’ll find lots of great resources on her blog.
I think we’re a cool bunch (or should I say flock) of twitter chicks who love to tweet.

You’d be surprised who you find a twitter. I was delighted to discover an author and Vietnamese Buddhist monk who I adore Thich Nhat Hanh, on twitter. Who would have thought?

It is so striking to me how intimate it is. I’ve been using the internet for a good 15 years, but not until the last few weeks have I found a social medium that is as personal and friendly as twitter.
So many personalities at our fingertips, and you can learn about people so quickly; what they love, what they fear, what they value… I’m enthralled.
And I’m just scratching the surface. The potential for widespread respect and cameraderie blows my mind.
