“When you calm your body & your emotions, teaches Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, you restore yourself, & restore peace to the world around you”
Anything Tibetan catches my attention, particularly when it has the nickname of “Tibetan Caffeine”, and is said to be anti ageing. It was around 2 years ago that a good friend of mine Suzie from Abundance Highway wrote about The Five Tibetan Rites of Rejuvenation on her blog.
I was instantly fascinated and quickly got myself a copy of the book. I loved it. Oh, so simple and only five yoga-type movements to learn. Too easy.
The best part for me was the hundreds of great pictures (perfect for a visual learner like me) with very clear, step by step instructions that have been well researched by the author Carolinda Witt.
Carolinda Witt – Author
What Are The Five Tibetan Rites Of Rejuvenation:
They are a series of five yoga-like exercises and one rejuvenation breathing technique. Perfect for anyone, at any age, that you can do anywhere.
Once you have mastered the five yoga-like exercises you perform each one of them 21 times each day. But, as a beginner of The Five Tibetans (like me), you start with a very easy three repetitions of each of the exercises. In between each different exercise Carolinda has included an energy breathing technique that she recommends you complete three times.
Carolinda Shares Six Benefits Of The Five Tibetan Rites:
- Increased energy and vitality – can keep going and going.
- Calmer, less stressed. Able to cope better
- Improved breathing
- Significant mental clarity. Razor sharp focus.
- Overall improvement in health
- Improved mood and overall sense of wellbeing/purpose
- A more youthful body, less stiff and far stronger

I would love to have a copy of this program! It sounds wonderful!!
You are an inspiration!
I heard about the Five Tibetans a few years ago but unfortunately “the messenger” was my sister’s flatmate who is a bit of a character and I think the book he had about it was dated with bulging speedo-images and it was all a bit hilarious and so I was sort of dismissive of it. BUT I have been meditating for a couple years now, have been focusing on my breathing more, and I do some gentle yoga. This is definitely up my alley. Preferably minus the 70′s bulging speedo guy.
I have never heard of the Five Tibetan Steps but the benefits sound great. I love your articles.
I’d love to have a chance to own this book. I’ve heard of the Five steps before but haven’t actually seen the book.
cheers Kate
I would love to post about this on my blog!
Hi Carole
I would love to win this wonderful book! Anything to help me restore my calm and composure after my son wrote my car off joy-riding would me most helpful! Naturally I am very grateful that he is fine and the only thing affected was my car!

I really love the site–it is very inspirational. i quite smoking over a month ago and the hardest part is the emotional challenge of regulation. I have been trying to run and do yoga. This sounds like something I could benefit from. Thanks so much.

Hi Carole,
I almost missed this article, but happened to see it listed when I was drooling over the yummy sounding bliss balls. I actually saw the ad first and was curious, then realized you wrote about it too. This is a great idea because who can’t find 10 minutes?
I’d love a shot at winning this! Thanks for all your great articles.
