10 Tips To Grab On The Run To Be Kinder To Yourself:
1: Be Kinder To Yourself: Soften your face muscles. Are you “holding in” tension by frowning, squinting, clenching teeth, tight jaw, tense tongue or tight breathing?
2: Repeat A Mantra To Invite More Kindness : Reduce any negative “chit chat” you may have in your head with a mantra that is kinder to you: “Every cell in my body is loved and healthy”
3: Have you been too serious lately? Go ahead and be spontaneous? Eat ice cream for breakfast, hug the next person you see or skip to your car.
4: Be kinder to yourself: Slow Down: Stop for one moment & experience the pause after each one of your next 3 exhales. Soften your breath.
5: Be kinder to your sleep. Your bedroom is not a multi purpose room. Calm, relax and de-stress its energy http://tinyurl.com/5t9qlq
6: Be Kinder To Your Nervous System: Add pockets of down time to unwind and de-stress. Create 2 minutes of “priority you” time every hour and listen to the needs of your body.
7: Be kinder to your eyes: Don’t stare for hours at a screen, treat your eyes to natural light the sun and sky, regular circular movement or deep rest by using a yoga eye pillow.
8: Be Kinder To Your Intuition: Don’t let other people’s opinions and judgments drown out your own voice. Give your intuition a louder voice. Stay true to you.
9: Invite more pleasure: Treat yourself to a chocolate facial – the recipe is here. Organic cacao powder is extremely high in magnesium which an excellent stress protector.
