I’ve hand selected just 10 from the 50 or more well being tips I post each month over at twitter. Twitter is a great avenue for me to share with you lots of very, very short (140 letters or less) well being tips to invite more rest, relaxation, restoration and renewal into your life. It’s literally a great way for you to pick up rejuvenation tips on the run.
Ten Tips To Grab On The Run To Restore Your Energy:
This month I’d like to share my tips on how to protect and/or boost your energy levels via nourishment, inviting more moments calm and stillness or by flicking off negativity.
1: Spend 60 seconds laughing along to the laughter recording on Jackies site: http://www.laughterlawyer.com Phone her laughter line twice a week for 5 minutes of laughter for no reason at all.
2: Stop wasting energy on other people’s business. Remember Byron Katie’s rule - There are 3 types of business. Your business, other peoples business and god’s business. Stick to your own business.
3: Drink To Your Health: Drink green tea and plenty of water. Flush away your toxins and lighten the load on your organs.
4: Enjoy the benefits of eating sitting down in a quiet environment. Walk away from your computer, turn off the TV and don’t read or talk. Notice the difference.
5: Invite relaxation: Make a fist with your hands, wrap fingers over thumbs. The tighter you squeeze your thumbs the deeper & calmer your breathe will be and the quieter your mind will become.
6: Reward Your Body: Five minutes only in basic relaxation pose will reduce fatigue, tension and lower blood pressure: http://tinyurl.com/54v6t3 All you need is a floor, blanket and eye bag
7: Calm Yourself Down: The eyes are linked to your nervous system. By relaxing your eyes you can help relax your entire body. Close then gently rotate your eyes, stop, then feel them unwind, soften and relax.
8: Push away negativity and stress: Spend longer on your exhales and give yourself some much needed space.
9: Swap the butter on your toast for tahini, avocado or nut paste. I mix my tahini with local bush honey. Tahini is sesame seed paste packed with lots of good stuff
10: Are you stressed? Check your face. Are you frowning, squinting, clenching teeth or pursing lips? Relax your face muscles now. Smile. Breathe.
