Stop Throwing Away Your Energy And Start Rejuevating:

Rejuvenate You:

It’s time to be blunt and get straight to the point. We as human beings waste bucket and bucket loads of energy simply by resisting the present moment and not accepting it. We mindlessly project tons and tons of our own very special, precious and valuable energy back into an event for minutes, hours and even days after it’s happened.

The more we resist a reality that doesn’t please us, the more firmly we become plugged into it. The stronger it’s hold, the greater the depletion of our energy and the higher our stress levels. Not a particularly useful recipe for valuing, protecting and honouring our own energy.

 

There Are Two Ways To Approach A Situation That Doesn’t Please You:

1: With resistance

2: With acceptance and grace

 

Acknowledge It – Let It Go – Then Go With The Flow:

It may be as common as burnt toast, caught in a traffic jam or waiting in a queue that gets you all worked up and agitated. Simply by becoming more aware of your response is a major restorative step towards preventing your energy being wasted unnecessarily. Even if 2 out of 5 times you are able to notice the agitation rising and surrender to it’s presence – you are well on your way to rejuvenating yourself.

 

Simple Solutions To Dissolve A Frustrating Moment:

  1. Release the build up of frustration and stress before it gets out of control
  2. Teach the mind to get over it or trick it into focusing on something else

 

I’ve given you a few options below:

  • Diffuse the stress in 30 seconds:
  • Diffuse the stress in 1 minute:
  • Diffuse the stress in 3 minutes

 

Find one or more solution that feels just right for you and then go forth and rejuvenate.

 

Diffuse the stress in 30 seconds:

Spray a few squirts of “Bach’s rescue remedy” into your mouth or if you are in Australia 7 drops under the tongue of “Australian bush flowers emergency essence”. Both essences have been used for decades to remove stress, worry and upset. I always keep a bottle in my hand bag and car. It’s like a yoga class in a bottle. Most good health food stores would stock these products.

 

Diffuse the stress in 1 minute:

Disconnect from the situation and get back into your body by practicing a little breathing therapy. Create a wider space between you, your mind and the unexpected situation.

When you are stressed or frustrated your breathing becomes fast, short and shallow. All your energy is directed back into your head, which then continues to feed an excess of stressed energy back into the unwanted situation.

Breathing Therapy: Inhale slowly, gently and deeply for 3-5 seconds then exhale for 3-5 seconds through your nose. Drop your shoulders, release the tension in your cheeks, jaw and neck, feel energy flow all the way down to your feet. Feel your whole body open up. Allow. Try it now while reading this article. I dare you.

or

Try some hand yoga.

Hold your ear lobes between thumb and index finger, gently pull down. The weight of your arms will create a space around your mouth, neck and jaw area. Feel a release of stuck energy flow instantly away from your head as the pressure is released. Yeah! Clever you and clever hands.

In both remedies we are simply aiming to get the build up of stressed energy out of your head and the energy flowing back throughout your body.

 

Diffuse the stress in 3 minutes – this works magic:

Lift both your hands up and rest them over your heart. Try it now. It instantly brings your full awareness back into your body and away from any unpleasant drama.

Now notice how you feel …… a little more relaxed. Take your time. You simply can’t help feeling a wave of relaxation wash over you when your hands are resting on your heart. It also symbolically says, I am safe and I am protecting my energies from the world.

You can now confidently and energetically, take control of the situation rather than it, having control of you.

Continue. Leaving your hands gently resting over your heart imagine breathing in and out gently with patience through your heart. Feel your hands rise and fall with your breath. With each inhale feel your heart energy grow and expand as you feel more and more relaxed. With each exhale watch the negativity dissolve like ice melting in the hot sun. Feel it drip and fall away from your body. The love energy around your heart area is the most potent energy in your body.

This is such a simple, yet very beautiful and effective way to redirect any energy being unnecessarily thrown away into a situation which you can’t change. Luckily now, I very rarely get upset when life throws me curve balls. I only tend to get thrown off balance when I’m extremely tired and am not grounded fully in my energy.

After years and years studying different energy modalities and other cultures I strongly believe that when things don’t go as planned there is always a reason or higher spiritual purpose for it happening which, at the time, we are often just not able to see. One of the joys of being a human being.
