Rejuvenate Your Soul:

“Insanity is to behave like someone else”

Make no mistake this question is powerful. More powerful than you could ever imagine. There is something quite magical and very revealing when you ask yourself this question. Interestingly, it almost demands that you stop, take a breather and spend some quality time searching for an honest and truthful answer.

It is the right question to ask at any time in your life, even when things are going great. I only wish I’d discovered this question earlier in my life.

The anatomy of saying really three times:

The first really hits your mind, the second really enters your body but the third really penetrates deep into the core of your being. Your soul hears the request loud and clear.

There is only one outcome when you answer this question from the depth of your soul. The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Your mind is not interested with what you want, only with what it wants, like a more expensive car or bigger home, simply to show off. Your body on the other hand whilst its requests may be practical and necessary they do not go beyond your more immediate physical needs. Yet when your soul receives this question it offers a truthful answer and shares with you your reason for being alive. It knows what you really, really, really want.

Ask this question every morning;

After I discovered this question last year when reading my favorite book for 2007 called Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert I was all consumed by Elizabeth’s question. In fact I don’t think a day has ever gone by where I haven’t thought about this question.  What do I really, really, really want?

As I love starting my day with a dash of meaning I often journal the answer to this potent question. I never give a second thought as to what I will write, nor about my spelling or what the answer will be.  I push my mind aside and simply let my pen write away. The responses are sometimes surprising, always revealing and definitely life enriching.

Overtime you will discover that a picture begins to assemble before your eyes.  You discover things about yourself that you didn’t know.  You get clarity like never before. The more frequently you answer this question the clearer you become.

So, if you are

Let me assure you there is inner peace in knowing what are you meant to be really, really, really doing with your life.

On a personal note:

Whilst I know for a fact that I am now meant to be a writer (even though I was poor at English in school, have no prior experience and only recently discovered my writing path), how my life as a writer should look smell and taste exactly, I am not 100% certain.

Nevertheless I have moved into action. Taken a 12 month sabbatical from teaching Holistic Feng Shui, created a blog ( a good start) I have been asked to contribute to other on-line publications such as Australian Women On-Line and Parenting Squad. I’ve even enrolled in a writing, editing and media communication course as I’m sure there’s lots I need to learn.

Giving birth to a book would satisfy me to core. In fact the energy and passion is there to write a book but I’m still feeling a little scared about actually getting started and then again perhaps thats not my writing destiny.

By answering this simple question life has revealed a new journey for me, a surprising yet wildly exciting journey.

I know for certain there are lots of people living today who have no idea what they really, really, really want. I trust you experience a marvelous awakening by answering this question and that your amazing truth unfolds before you.

Oh yes…and to answer the question…

What do I really really really want?

Wow I am not even sure. That is too good of a question.

I guess I will have to get back to you on that! ;D
