If you were to ask me which was the most important energetic location in your home from a Feng Shui perspective I would answer there are actually two; your bedroom and your front entrance followed a close third by the centre.

Energetically your front entrance is a very potent location. It is the connection point where energy is exchanged between your internal yin private world and the external yang world where all realms of possibility exist.

Your front entrance is speaking loudly to the universe:

Your front entrance is the location which invites, welcomes and attracts opportunities, prosperity and abundance from the universe. It can also easily block, slow down or divert your prosperity all together.

Your front entrance is speaking loudly to the universe every minute of the day according to the quality of energy flowing in, through and around it. If it feels great its welcoming abundance if it feels flat, dull or just OK, it is blocking your abundance. Get it. Like energy has no choice but to attract like energy.

In addition each time your front entrance is opened it feeds your home with either a high or low quality of energy which in turn directly affects the atmosphere in your home and the flow of your life.

When the energy in your home feels good you feel good and when you feel good you are open to receive wealth and opportunities present themselves.

When the energy in your home doesn’t feel right then you don’t feel right and you have blocks to receiving wealth.

What is your front entrance saying to the universe?

Is it open and asking for abundance?

Is it saying my life is a struggle!

Is it saying I am surrounded by disorganization?

Is it saying my life is stuck in the past?

Is it saying there is no brightness of the future?

Get clear and get results:

My guess is that you are keen for your front entrance to welcome new opportunities, growth, happiness, prosperity and abundance.

You simply need to ask yourself can I improve how the energy feels around my front entrance. Any improvement no matter small or large is a good thing and raises the vibration of your home.

To help you uplift and boost the energy at your front entrance you can apply any or all (all is better) of the following very simple suggestions. I welcome any questions you may have if you are feeling a bit stuck.

The better your home feels, the better you will feel and

the better you feel the happier our planet is. Yeah!

  1. Notice what you think every time you walk through your front entrance. If you don’t like what you hear in your head then create a new front door mantra. Perhaps you feel connected with “I bring love and abundance easily into my home” or “Abundance follows me wherever I go” or “Great things always happen in my home”. I’m sure you all know by now Louise Hay’s famous affirmation “My every thought is creating my future”. It’s important to remember that your homes atmosphere is nothing more than a bunch of memories from old thoughts, words and conversations which have taken place inside those four walls. Your front entrance is no different. Its memory is constantly being walked into your home so if you want to change those memories create a mantra that feels right for you.

  1. Remove obstacles that block the flow of your life both inside and outside of your front entrance. Clutter, mess, uncared for garden, neglect, things broken, daggy looking old door mat, pile of shoes, door which squeaks or opens with difficulty. Let the space breathe. I’m sure you’ve got the picture by now.

  1. Free yourself from the past. Items and decorations which don’t support who you are today need to be given away or sold. Check to see if there is any unpleasant emotional energy attachments to any items around your front entrance. Either cleanse them with sage or get rid of them.

  1. Can you see your front entrance within seconds of walking onto your property? If visitors are unsure where you front entrance is then Qi will be confused resulting is missed opportunities. Make your front entrance obvious by drawing attention to it. If it attracts your eyes straight away then its attracting energy. Try colour, plants, flowers, lighting, protective guardians, wind mobiles etc.

  1. What’s the one thing you could do right now that would make you feel great every time you walk through your front entrance? Is it more flowers and plants or adding a splash more colour or a new door mat? Let you front entrance shout clearly to the universe “I open for abundance”. Have a look at the picture in this article. The front door is clearly open for abundance.

If I neglect my front entrance for any length of time I definitely notice a change to the flow of my life. Energy is forever changing and it’s important to “check in” with how your front entrance feels on a very regular basis.

You have inspired me to clean up my front porch tomorrow! About turning out the lights. I connected some heavy use items onto surge protectors. In our family room one has: TV, stereo, battery charger, robot vacuum charger, and cell phone chargers. I just flip it off at night. In my bedroom I have: blow drier, make up mirror, and flat iron on one. That’s been great because I don’t have to worry about if I’ve left te flat iron on. I never thought about the laundry room. What have you done in there? I definitely noticed a drop in my electric bill but couldn’t tell you how much- about 25% I’d say.I also turn off lights more and have changed out quite a few bulbs.
