About turning out the lights. I connected some heavy use items onto surge protectors. In our family room one has: TV, stereo, battery charger, robot vacuum charger, and cell phone chargers. I just flip it off at night.In my bedroom I have: blow drier, make up mirror, and flat iron on one. That's been great because I don't have to worry about if I've left te flat iron on. I never thought about the laundry room.What have you done in there? I definitely noticed a drop in my electric bill but couldn't tell you how much- about 25% I'd say.I also turn off lights more and have changed out quite a few bulbs.
